Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign up using a third-party provider (Google, Apple, etc.), we receive basic profile information from that provider.
Files and Content
We store the files you upload to our service. Your files are encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not access, view, or analyze the contents of your files except as necessary to provide the service (e.g., generating thumbnails, extracting metadata) or as required by law.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you interact with our service, including storage usage, file upload/download activity, and feature usage. This helps us improve the service and troubleshoot issues.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers. We retain billing history and subscription status for account management purposes.
Technical Data
We automatically collect device information, IP addresses, browser type, and operating system when you use our service. This information is used for security, analytics, and service optimization.
How We Use Your Information
Service Provision
We use your information to operate, maintain, and improve Fucking Fast File Drive. This includes storing your files, processing uploads and downloads, generating media previews, and delivering content through our global edge network.
Communication
We may send you service-related emails (account verification, security alerts, billing notifications). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
Security
We use collected data to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats. This includes monitoring for unusual account activity and enforcing our terms of service.

Data Storage and Security
Encryption
All files are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Data in transit is protected using TLS 1.3. Encryption keys are managed using industry-standard key management practices.
Infrastructure
Your files are stored on secure cloud infrastructure with geographic redundancy. We use multiple data centers to ensure availability and durability of your data.
Access Controls
Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to provide support or maintain the service. All access is logged and audited.
Retention
We retain your files for as long as your account is active. When you delete a file, it is removed from our active systems within 30 days. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being permanently deleted.
Sharing Your Information
Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to operate our platform (cloud infrastructure, payment processing, analytics). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
Public Sharing
When you mark a file as public or share a link, that file becomes accessible to anyone with the link. You control which files are shared and can revoke access at any time.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or court order. We will notify you of such requests when legally permitted. We will challenge requests we believe are overbroad or unlawful.
Business Transfers
If Absurd Technologies is acquired or merged, your data may be transferred to the new owner. We will notify you before any such transfer and give you the opportunity to delete your data.
Your Rights and Choices
Access and Portability
You can access and download all your files at any time. You can also request a copy of your account data by contacting support.
Deletion
You can delete individual files or your entire account at any time. Account deletion removes all your files and personal data from our systems, subject to the retention periods described above.
Correction
You can update your account information (email, password) through the account settings page.
GDPR Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to object to processing, restrict processing, and lodge complaints with supervisory authorities.
CCPA Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of your information. We do not sell your personal information.
